Museum Hours
The museum is open from May 18 until September 2, 2024 with the hours of 10:00 am – 4:00 pm Tuesday through Sunday. The museum is closed on Mondays except for holidays.
From September 8 until September 30, 2024 the museum is open on weekends from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm and is available during the week by appointment.
In the shoulder seasons of May and September, it is best to call ahead during the week.
Guided tours and self-guided walking tours are available. All Museum buildings, including gift shop, are open for viewing. Picnic tables and washroom facilities are available.

FROM MONTREAL · Take highway 417 (highway 40) west to exit 27 (Alexandria) · Turn south on 34 · Turn right on county road 24 travelling west until you reach Dunvegan · The museum is located at the four way stop. FROM OTTAWA · Take highway 417 to the Maxville/Highland Road Exit (exit #51 ). · Travel south on Highland Road until you reach County Road #24. · Travel east on County Road #24 until you reach Dunvegan. · The museum is located at the four way stop.
