The Glengarry Pioneer Museum has the perfect winter activity you can do from the warmth of your own home. Starting on Saturday, February 18, 2023, the museum will release the first of six videos in the Historical Snapshot series which will feature history of places and people from Glengarry County and surrounding areas. A new video will be released every Saturday until March 25th. Access to the video series is free, thanks to contributions from the Township of North Glengarry, United Counties of SDG and several individual sponsors.

Saturday, February 18 – The History of St.Raphael’s Ruins, presented by the late David Anderson.
Saturday, February 25 – Early 20th Century author Ralph Connor (Charles William Gordon), presented by Richard Mahoney, with readings by Marilyn MacSweyn.
Saturday, March 4 – Pre-Contact History, presented by Phillip White-Cree, Clarkson University, N.Y.
Saturday, March 11 – Mid 20th Century author Dorothy Dumbrille, researched by Lacey Hambleton, presented by Lindsey Howes, with readings by Marilyn MacSweyn.
Saturday, March 18 – The History of Quigley’s Corner, presented by Dianne MacMillan Arril.
Saturday, March 25 – Making Maple Syrup, Clay MacWherter.
Once each video is live, they will remain accessible to watch in the future.
