This little gem of a museum is somewhat out of the way, but well worth a visit. The heritage buildings are expertly presented and lovingly furnished with fascinating historical artifacts. A big Thank You to Jennifer and her team, who took the time to show me around. All the best for the coming season!

I had a very nice visit of the Pioneer Museum. Greeted with a smile by Marissa who was very knowledgeable and generous with her time. She even caught up with me during my exploration, and offered helpful information on the history of the area. Each building and artifact on display are well presented and give you a real sense of what it was like living in this era. And the setting in the heart of Dunvegan is picture perfect… wish I had had more time to linger!
I will definitely return with a picnic and friends next time, and I will definitely let others know of this surprising little gem of a museum.
