Collections
The Glengarry Pioneer Museum has a mandate to collect, preserve and interpret artifacts that have a connection to Glengarry County and date from earliest settlement until 1915. Textiles like clothing, quilts, coverlets; photographs; paintings; agricultural tools of all sorts; household items; and even oral histories are preserved at the museum. Some artifacts are stored in the heritage buildings themselves, while more delicate artifacts like textiles or framed works are stored in an off-site temperature controlled storage facility.
